Understand the route

  1. Dubai Courts’ Free Legal Consultation Program is for financially distressed individuals, excluding companies. It offers initial assistance before filing a case, once for the same subject and reason, for supported case types.
  2. The Courts page describes a 30–60 minute consultation by phone or in person at the firm’s discretion. Check current request hours and available categories on the official page.
  3. LAD’s detailed FAQ says its Voluntary Legal Services portal is open to all members of the public, with registration. Applicants choose an area of law, language, communication method, participating firm and an available slot.
  4. LAD’s homepage describes support for financially disadvantaged users. Check the live portal’s eligibility and terms; a firm may decline and the applicant can approach another participating firm.

What to prepare

  • A concise issue summary and relevant dates
  • The authority’s eligibility information
  • Documents requested by the participating firm, shared directly after verification
The programmes are distinct. No appointment, acceptance, ongoing representation or free court filing is guaranteed. Do not send personal case documents to this index.
